How do I go about getting a webpage?  back to top
The first step toward getting a website started is to sit down and decide why you want/need a website? What is the goal/purpose of the website? Who is your target audience? We tell our clients that the best way to think of your website is like you would an outlined document. Gather all content information (photos, documents, copy, etc.) you would like to have included on the site.

Then determine what domain name you would ideally like to have. We will take care of securing the domain name for you. You will also need to consider hosting for your website. Heth Design is able to provide hosting to you for only $8/month ($96 annually).

Once you have answered all the pertinent questions pertaining to the website's purpose and laid out the site content, we set up a consultation (by phone or in person) to determine the direction you would like us to go in designing your site. We collect information on your wants, needs, likes, dislikes and determine a design quote specifically for you. Upon your approval and once we have received your signed contract and 50% deposit, we begin designing and you are on your way toward a professional web presence.

How do you determine the cost for designing a webpage?  back to top
Many factors go into a design quote but the best way for us to determine the cost is to find out specifically what a client wants and/or needs when inquiring about a website. Questions to consider : How broad will the site be? Will the site require a database to store information? Does the site need a login for clients or users? Will you need administrator capabilities? How long does it take to get a website up and going?  back to top
Typically, from the initial consultation to delivery, we require at least 1-2 months. However, we have been able to accommodate orders on a smaller time frame, if necessary. There is a $500 fee for rush orders.
Do you offer web hosting?  back to top
Yes. We are able to host your website for only $8/month ($96 annually), which can be paid monthly or annually.
Do I need to bring anything to the initial consultation?  back to top
We do not require you to bring anything specific to a consultation except you. However, whenever we meet with a new client, we like to ask them to bring any pictures or samples they might have that will show us their style, their likes and dislikes, their color choices, etc. Anything that will help us create the best possible design for you is encouraged.
Can I do a phone consultation?  back to top
Yes, you can. We know how busy life is these days and the last thing we want to do is add stress to your already busy schedule. We are happy to do a phone consultation with you where we gather design specifics and learn more about you. Often times when we do a phone consultation, we ask you to email us any samples or ideas you have in mind that you might otherwise bring to an in-person consultation so we know what direction to go in the designing process. When you contact us let us know you are interested in a phone consultation. Be sure to provide your phone number and the best time for us to reach you.
I need a logo for something specific, can you do this?  back to top
Yes, we can design a logo for you. We have designed logos for several different companies and individuals. We would start by finding out the nature of the logo requirement and then design surrounding that concept. We typically supply clients with 3-5 logo proofs but are more than willing to include more or less when necessary.
If I have an image, photo, or graphic can you incorporate it into the design?

Yes, we can incorporate logos, photos and images into most designs as long as they are in the proper file format and the images are at a high enough resolution to maintain their quality. Additional charges may apply to images that need retouching, enhancing or other graphic design work.

How can I see the samples you create for me?  back to top
We will post all design proofs on our website under your account and send you an email with a specific link and instructions on how to view your proofs. We have had so many clients comment how easy and preferred it was to be able to view their proofs online at any time. If requested and applicable, proofs can be mailed to you but we do require that proofs be returned to us for copyright reasons.
If I already have an idea in mind can you work with that?  back to top
Yes, we love it when you have something in mind and we get to breathe life into the idea. We work really hard to create exactly what you envision and your ideas are always encouraged.
Can I change my order after the initial consultation?  back to top
Yes and No. This is a more complicated question because it depends on the time frame in which the change is requested and what the change is. Generally, we can accommodate most changes without any problem or delay in delivery so don't hesitate to ask. Some changes may result in additional cost to the client and may alter the date of delivery/launch.
Do you create invitations for parties and events?  back to top
We love creating invitations for all of life's events. Contact us with specifics for the event and we will provide you with a quote based on your needs. You can also visit the Wedding and Baby portions of our site, to see sample work for these major life events.
Can you do envelope addressing (return address, mailing address)?  back to top
Yes, we are happy to offer envelope printing in a wide variety of fonts. Return address printing is a flat fee of $50/100 envelopes. Address printing is offered at $1.50/envelope. Address information will need to be submitted to us in Excel spreadsheet format on CD.
What forms of payment do you accept?  back to top
We accept cash, check or money order/cashiers check. We do not accept credit cards at this time. A $35 fee will be assessed for all returned checks. Checks may be held for up to 10 days.
