How much will my wedding stationery cost?  back to top
Because each custom stationery design is as unique as every individual we work with, there are no set prices. We can work with any budget to create the perfect design for your wedding. Let us know if you have a specific budget and we can suggest different design concepts to fit your needs.

After your consultation, we will provide you with a price quote based on your design needs.

Factors to consider that will influence the price of your design package include color vs. black and white printing, quantity needed, paper selection, the use of vellum, ribbon or other forms of embellishment, and time required for construction.

For example, a sophisticated ivory, single-card invitation with black ink printing will cost less than a more intricate invitation with colored ink printing, a vellum overlay and a satin ribbon tie.

Can I do a phone consultation?  back to top
Yes, you can. We know how busy life is these days and the last thing we want to do is add stress to your planning process. We are happy to do a phone consultation with you where we gather specifics about your event and learn more about you. Often times when we do a phone consultation, we ask you to email us any samples or ideas you have in mind that you might otherwise bring to an in-person consultation so we know what direction to go in the design process. When you contact us let us know you are interested in a phone consultation. Be sure to provide your phone number and the best time for us to reach you.
If I have an image, photo, or graphic can you incorporate it into the design? back to top
Yes, we can incorporate photos and images into most designs as long as they are in the proper file format and the images are at a high enough resolution to maintain the print quality. Additional charges may apply to images that need retouching, enhancing or other graphic design work.

Copyright images will not be reproduced without written permission.

How can I see the samples you create for me?  back to top
We will post all design proofs on our website under your account and send you an email with a specific link and instructions on how to view your proofs. We have had so many clients comment how easy and preferred it was to be able to view their proofs online at any time. If requested, samples can be mailed to you.
If I already have an idea in mind can you work with that?  back to top
Yes, we love it when you have something in mind and we get to breathe life into the idea. We work really hard to create exactly what you envision for your special day and your ideas are always encouraged.
Can I change my order after the initial consultation?  back to top
Yes and No. This is a more complicated question because it depends on the time frame in which the change is requested and what the change is. Generally, we can accommodate most changes without any problem so don't hesitate to ask. Some changes may result in additional cost to the client.
Can you do envelope addressing (return address, to address)?  back to top
Yes, we are happy to offer envelope printing in a wide variety of fonts. Return address printing is a flat fee of $50/100 envelopes. Address printing is offered at $2.00/set (inner and outer envelopes) or $1.25/single envelope. Guest information will need to be submitted to us in Excel spreadsheet format on CD.
Why do I need an Inner and Outer envelope for my invitation?  back to top
There are several purposes of the Inner envelope. Essentially it ensures that guests have a clean envelope to keep the invitation and its inserts together. The Outer envelope gets handled and stamped in the mailing process, and guests are able to throw it away and still have the Inner envelope to hold everything.

The Inner envelope also acts as a way for you to designate the specific guests that are invited. For example, the outer envelope would be addressed to "Mr. and Mrs. David Elliot". On the inner envelope, you would list any and all other family members that are included in the invitation. For example, "David, Holly, Christian, Heidi, Heather, and Stephen". Adversely, if you only intend to invite the adults, you would simply write "David and Holly". If you have a single guest and you want them to know they are welcome to bring a guest, you would indicate that on the Inner envelope like so "Mr. Jonathan Adams and [Guest's Name]".
Do you create invitations for parties?  back to top
We love creating invitations for parties and events in addition to weddings. Contact us with specifics for the event and we will provide you with a quote based on your needs.
Do I need to bring anything to the initial consultation?  back to top
We do not require you to bring anything specific to a consultation except you. However, whenever we meet with a new client, we like to ask them to bring any pictures or samples they might have that will show us their style, their likes and dislikes, their wedding colors, etc. Magazine pictures, fabric and color swatches, photos, other stationery you like are great things to bring.
When should I send out Save The Dates?  back to top
We recommend sending Save the Date cards a year to six months in advance to give your guests plenty of time to put the date on the calendar and begin making travel arrangements.
When should I send my wedding invitations?  back to top
We recommend sending your invitations out 4-6 weeks before the wedding date if you sent out Save the Date cards. However, if you decided against Save the Dates we suggest sending the invitations out 8 weeks before the date.
How many programs should I order?  back to top
This question can be tricky. Most people suggest ordering one program/guest. However, we have found that brides often have a number of programs left over. Here's what we suggest: If portions of the ceremony require guest participation (i.e. congregational song, group reading, etc.) then we do suggest planning for one program/guest. Otherwise, we feel that ordering programs for roughly 3/4 of your expected guests would be sufficient. Typically, couples often share a program and younger kids will not take one. If you are still uncertain of how many to order, then err on the side of caution and stick to the one program/guest ratio!
How long does it take to receive my order?  back to top
Typically, from the initial consultation to delivery, we require at least 1 month. Ideally, we like to give ourselves 1-2 months time to ensure sufficient design time and the best output. However, we have been able to accommodate brides in a bind and deliver within 7-10 days. There is a $100 fee for rush orders.
What forms of payment do you accept?  back to top
We accept cash, check or money order/cashiers check. We do not accept credit cards at this time. A $35 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.
Do you offer non-custom stationery as well?  back to top
Yes, we do. We are pleased to be able to offer our clients a wide selection of wedding stationery from Carlson Craft's Something Different album. Be sure to ask us how to view this album if this is the route you would like to take.
